Ski passes can be bought on site. In summer, many hiking and mountain bike trails are close by. Fantastic location, you can ski out and in the hotel. Ski area is great, after-ski parties as well in nearby cafee. Nice spa area and great friendly personel. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Just a 5-minute walk both from Heiligenblut’s centre and ski area, the family-run Hotel Kaiservilla features a spa area with a Finnish sauna and a steam bath, and a ski storage room with a ski boot dryer. The Großglockner High Alpine Road can be accessed 50 metres from the hotel. Beautiful building and room, wood everywhere. It was very cozy and with a nice view on the mountains. Breakfast was excellent, a lot of options to choose from. Very nice little spa with sauna and relax room.

Family-run for over 300 years, Gasthof Post in Rennweg is just off the A10 motorway and a 5-minute drive from the Katschberg Ski Area. It offers a sauna, steam bath, and free Wi-Fi. The restaurant serves traditional Austrian and Carinthian cuisine. We enjoyed our stay at Gasthof Post very much. Traditional Austrian decor with the hints of modern was exactly what we wanted. Super clean, comfortable bads and specious rooms. Great Austrian hospitality.

The modern accommodation at Wallner - Hotel & Wirt includes a flat-screen satellite TV and a bathroom. Most overlook the surrounding mountains. The apartments also feature a kitchenette with a dining area, and they have garden views. Nice big bathroom, pretty room estethetic-wise, big comfy bed, big tv with youtube and netflix, friendly staff and variety of products for breakfast

The Gerlitzen-Kanzelbahn cable car is 800 metres away and the stop of the free ski bus can be found right in front of the hotel. A riding centre can be reached within a few minutes drive and the city of Villach is 10 km away. Very good breakfasts, clean and nice rooms, free parking, space for ski. Skibus stop in front of the main entrance. Everything available for handicaped people. Sauna and fitness.

Bicycles are provided free of charge. The registration at the reception was very quick and friendly. The receptionist Philipp gave me full information about hotel and Velden area, that was very helpful. Also he upgrades the room. The room was vey clean and modern, in light colors as I like. I like the bathroom and shower with all nesessary detailes. Also I like slippers that had there own fabric, not like in other hotels. Room had a big balcony to very quet yard, that was surprising in the middle of the town. At breakfast was all that you need, incuding salmon and variety of fruits. The lobby of hotel looks modern, photos enclosed

Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the outdoor fireplace, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden.

For guests with children, Landhaus Königsreiner provides a baby safety gate. After a day of skiing, cycling or walking tours, guests can relax in the garden or in the shared lounge area. We had a lovely stay at this beautiful, meticulously clean and comfortable property. The family that owns and operates this recently renovated property welcomed us with open arms and took very good care of us. Our room was very comfortable. The shower was great. Balcony views incredible. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in Carinthia, mostly locally sourced fresh products. Good coffee, good eggs. We are hiking Alpe Adria trail and this has been one of our favorite stays. Thanks for hosting us! I would highly recommend a stay here to anyone walking Alpe Adria or touring my car in the area.
