Ski passes can be bought on site. In summer, many hiking and mountain bike trails are close by. Our room was very big, with a lot of space and beautiful view. The kitchen had everything. Ski slopes are very near hotel, you do not have to carry skiis, you just have to go outside and you are on the slope. This hotel is very good for the family.

Just a 5-minute walk both from Heiligenblut’s centre and ski area, the family-run Hotel Kaiservilla features a spa area with a Finnish sauna and a steam bath, and a ski storage room with a ski boot dryer. The Großglockner High Alpine Road can be accessed 50 metres from the hotel. Beautiful village tucked between the mountains and perfect accommodation to spend the time there. Really friendly staff, beautiful view from the rooms balcony and tasty breakfast. The downside for us is only staying for one night.

Family-run for over 300 years, Gasthof Post in Rennweg is just off the A10 motorway and a 5-minute drive from the Katschberg Ski Area. It offers a sauna, steam bath, and free Wi-Fi. The restaurant serves traditional Austrian and Carinthian cuisine. We enjoyed our stay at Gasthof Post very much. Traditional Austrian decor with the hints of modern was exactly what we wanted. Super clean, comfortable bads and specious rooms. Great Austrian hospitality.

The modern accommodation at Wallner - Hotel & Wirt includes a flat-screen satellite TV and a bathroom. Most overlook the surrounding mountains. The apartments also feature a kitchenette with a dining area, and they have garden views. Everything was great. Really good breakfast. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable.

The Gerlitzen-Kanzelbahn cable car is 800 metres away and the stop of the free ski bus can be found right in front of the hotel. A riding centre can be reached within a few minutes drive and the city of Villach is 10 km away. great breakfast, really nice personal .
