Ski passes can be bought on site. In summer, many hiking and mountain bike trails are close by. Very nice large and clean room with a great view of the slopes, really helpful and friendly staff We used the excellent wellness every day. The location with direct access to the slopes was great. We would love to come back.

Just a 5-minute walk both from Heiligenblut’s centre and ski area, the family-run Hotel Kaiservilla features a spa area with a Finnish sauna and a steam bath, and a ski storage room with a ski boot dryer. The Großglockner High Alpine Road can be accessed 50 metres from the hotel. It was a very coazy place, nice style, clean, warm and welcoming. The sauna and relaxation room were perfect for after ski relaxation. The room was comfy and big, with a very nice mountain view, and it even smelled very nice. We also had a big balcony. There was a nice safe place to store ski equipment. The personnel were very kind and happy to help with all the questions. The breakfast was also perfect. We felt absolutely comfortable and very welcome there.

Family-run for over 300 years, Gasthof Post in Rennweg is just off the A10 motorway and a 5-minute drive from the Katschberg Ski Area. It offers a sauna, steam bath, and free Wi-Fi. The restaurant serves traditional Austrian and Carinthian cuisine. The breakfast was great and very comprehensive for a smaller place

The modern accommodation at Wallner - Hotel & Wirt includes a flat-screen satellite TV and a bathroom. Most overlook the surrounding mountains. The apartments also feature a kitchenette with a dining area, and they have garden views. Beautiful location, nice and quite very close to all the facilities and very clean… the breakfast was perfect literally perfect, awesome place. I will definitely come back.

The Gerlitzen-Kanzelbahn cable car is 800 metres away and the stop of the free ski bus can be found right in front of the hotel. A riding centre can be reached within a few minutes drive and the city of Villach is 10 km away. Perfect breakfast (I would rate it 10/10). Great sauna, open daily. Lot of parking spaces. Modern and new facilities. Ski bus directly from the hotel to ski resort.

The Wallackhaus features a winter garden and restaurant with mountain views. In winter, a sauna, a steam bath, and an infrared cabin can be used by guests. There is also a relaxation room with panoramic mountain views, and the new Sky Bar. I loved the set up with the meals and self service. The hotel is beautiful, better than the photos, everywhere are amazing views. An exrodinary place to stay, I wish we could have stayed longer.

Skiing and cycling are possible within the area, and the apartment offers ski storage space. Very nice, spacious, clean, newly renovated apartment with a cute terrace. Kids especially liked the wall fireplace. 😀 Approachable and kind host.

Landhaus Königsreiner, a property with barbecue facilities, is located in Kolbnitz, 12 km from Roman Museum Teurnia, 22 km from Porcia Castle, as well as 25 km from Millstatt Abbey. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden.

For guests with children, Landhaus Königsreiner provides a baby safety gate. After a day of skiing, cycling or walking tours, guests can relax in the garden or in the shared lounge area. We had a lovely stay at this beautiful, meticulously clean and comfortable property. The family that owns and operates this recently renovated property welcomed us with open arms and took very good care of us. Our room was very comfortable. The shower was great. Balcony views incredible. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in Carinthia, mostly locally sourced fresh products. Good coffee, good eggs. We are hiking Alpe Adria trail and this has been one of our favorite stays. Thanks for hosting us! I would highly recommend a stay here to anyone walking Alpe Adria or touring my car in the area.

The holiday home provides guests with a terrace, mountain views, a seating area, a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven, and a private bathroom with walk-in shower and a hair dryer. A microwave, a toaster and fridge are also provided, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the holiday home, all units come with bed linen and towels.

Skiing and cycling can be enjoyed nearby, while a ski equipment rental service, ski-to-door access and a ski pass sales point are also available on-site. Staff was super helpful, even though we had to make last minute changes due to a sickness. The apartment was right on the slope (ski in and out, right to the door), and it was super clean. Also the apartment we got was of very high quality, furniture, machines, materials used were above average. The ski storage room with lockers per apartment was very useful and easy to access. The automated, 24/7 shop on-site was excellent, and there's another automated (unstaffed) one reachable with a 3 minute walk, and a proper shop open until 5pm a few hundred meters away, so the location was perfect. It was also very quiet and comfortable.
