We stayed here for a couple of nights before heading out on canoe trip in the park. Our Place Up North is in a great location- easy access to Huntsville and the local shops, cafes, restaurants etc- but far enough out to feel like you have some space and peace. There is a swimming lake just across the road (a few mins walk through Tally Ho) which we enjoyed one sunny morning. The apartment is incredibly well stocked and everything is clearly labelled - the lovely host Debbie has truly thought of everything. There are plenty of things to entertain you on those chillier nights- games and dvds etc, and a lovely private outdoor area with a campfire if you fancy stargazing. There was even a welcome pack with snacks and nibbles to enjoy when we arrived, which was a real treat. We could have easily stayed much, much longer. Thank you Debbie!

Overlooking Peninsula Lake, this property offers motel rooms and cottages. It is just 10 km from Huntsville. All guest rooms include a fridge and coffee machine. Complimentary WiFi is provided. The owners were so helpful. They really went out of their way to help us.

The staff's friendliness enhanced the overall experience. However, addressing the beds' comfort would further elevate the stay. Despite this, all other aspects were excellent.

The staff was very helpful and nice; the checking in and out process was straightforward. The location was great and very close to the park.

Set in Huntsville, Blue Water Acres has a private beach area, water sports facilities and a tennis court, as well as free WiFi. Lovely spacious cottage in the first row in front of the water. Very tidy and quiet area with deer, turkeys and of course lots of squirrels spotted. Great facilities for free (pool&sauna until 10pm - nice sandy beach and plenty of canoes, kayaks, paddleboards. Also sports & playgrounds for kids. Cottage was nicely equipped with ok kitchen gear.

This Muskoka Inn is situated on the shores of Peninsula Lake. Algonquin Park is 32 km away. Satellite TV and a coffee maker are provided in each unit at Tally-Ho Inn. The place is great about 10 minutes from Hansville and 40 minutes from Algonquin Park where we wanted to get to. We got a large and spacious unit, clean, private, quiet. Located on the shore of a beautiful lake.
