It's located in the heart of an incredibly beautiful Schierke just a couple of minutes away from the bus stop. The room is super clean and comfortable, breakfast is tasty and generous, and people are extremely kind and friendly. Hiking trails are nearby as well as the station of the tourist train. We loved this stay a lot, would highly recommend this place!

The apartment is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood, a short distance from both the castle and the beautiful city center. The apartment is so beautifully and cozy renovated while the owners have preserved key parts of the house's history and soul, including the old doors and the gorgeus entrance. The beds, sofa, bathtub and adorable terrace were among all the parts we loved about this place. We would definitely recommend it.

Everything was really great - walking (7 minutes) distance from the train station, 1 min walk to the historical part of the city, yet very quiet and secluded location. A beautiful view on the Castle from one window and Brocken from the other one. Very friendly and helpful hosts. We clearly will be back here again!

Attractive apartment, well appointed and comfortable, centrally located with easy access to eateries, shops and local attractions, including a bakery & delicatessen just opposite, handy for breakfast. We had the top floor apartment which had a beautiful view of the castle. Easy walking distance from train station. Friendly and welcoming host who accomodated our unplanned late arrival. It was hot during our stay but a fan was provided to help keep cool.

It looked and felt very new, everything you need is provided for you (not a full-on kitchen but there is a kettle and a coffeemachine for the necessary breakfast fixes) and a fridge! The bed is big and very comfortable, and the location is amazing! Very clean and huge bathroom. Very quiet and close to beautiful hiking paths. The people at the tourist information in town can tell you exactly which routes to take. Free parking space available right next to the property! Plenty of room to leave your stuff.

The hostess moved us into the downstairs apartment because the dishwasher upstairs wasn't working, so these comments apply to that one (the Rebecca apt). This apartment was the most well organised and well redecorated (it must have been done quite recently) place we've stayed in in a long time. Large, beautiful and comfortable. 2 large double bedrooms, medium sized kitched, large sitting room and a separate hallway with dining table. Also access to a lovely inner courtyard, excellent for a drink in the afternoon. Location is right by the town center, yet on a very quiet street. Also only a couple of minutes away from the Westtor train station where you can catch the steam trains.
