This 19th-century hotel is located in the centre of beautiful Mont Dore, and makes a wonderful base for exploring the Massif du Sancy. Centrally located with easy parking and its own beautiful garden to relax. It's easy to go for a stroll in the city, the funicular is 5 minutes walk away. We had initially booked a room on the 3rd floor but my husband had an injury in the meantime that would have made it complicated to take all the stairs so we called ahead to explain the situation and they were nice enough to find a solution to accommodate us so we could stay on the first floor instead. Great room with 2 separate spaces that was perfect for our baby to sleep quietly in his own space. Breakfast is all home-made and you have something for everyone. The breakfast room is also very pleasant.

Loved everything about it. Beautiful renovated and decorated former big farm house (oh that fire place!), so wonderful.Very friendly host. We wanted to have a quiet night in after three weeks of travelling and we could use the kitchen and cutlery and everything we needed was there. I was just so happy just looking round at all the beautiful furniture and art (a gorgeous combination of modern, vintage, antique) Hope to stay again when in the area!

Offering city views, Au 17 is an accommodation situated in Murat, 49 km from Aurillac train station and 49 km from Aurillac Congress Centre. Ample space for me, my husband and 3 boys. Comfortable beds and excellent facilities. Agnes was a very attentive host. Great location in a quaint area of Murat, lovely boutique shops, bars and restaurants on your doors. Only a 10 minute drive to le Lioran ski resort.
