We loved the attention to detail, for example there are two power sockets at the end of the bed with a nice shelf to put your phones on while you sleep. There's a good selection of dishes and cutlery to use, including the all important bottle opener for that cold beer after a long day of hiking. There's a lovely sitting space outside facing the river. The location is absolutely perfect!

This is a perfect accommodation for those walking the West Highland Way. While it didn't have an oven or hob, it had a microwave and enough kitchen essentials to have the flexibility to buy and cook food and also prep food for the next day's hike. It had a nice private outdoor space where you could cook out or lay out all of your clothes to dry in the sun (on a good weather day) or huddle up inside on the sofa or comfy bed (on a not so good weather day). It also had a working heated towel rack for drying off your essentials in a pinch.
