The location was lovely - very gorgeous wee town, and a spectacular drive into the valley. The area around the apartment felt very safe, and, had it not been pouring with rain, would have been lovely to walk around. The old school house was beautifully appointed, super clean, and was a really good size. We appreciated the washing machine. The reception area was in the nearby bar/restaurant which we didn't eat at, but it looked really nice.

Hotel Aldan - Kantor Pos berjarak 500 meter dari Smyril Line Ferry Terminal di Seydisfjördur. Wi-Fi dan tempat parkir tersedia gratis. Very beautiful view, perfect location. Had both dinner & breakfast at hotel’s Aldan restaurant and both were very good.

The upgraded us as there weren't many tourists during the off season. We were even warned that there a no open restaurants beforehand so we could prepare. Our Keycode allowed us to enter a seperate vuilding with a small little honesty bar and snacks. All in all a lovely old hotel with really nice rooms and extremely pleasent hosts - would love to come back during the summer.
