I 76 yrs old...but the hike downhill from the hotel was beautiful. The few shops provide manji and cookies for purchase. The wifi was excellent. The local bus to Nihonmatsu is very cheap.

It is very stylishly renovated with wood and everything is well curated, especially the great room aroma that gives a nice atmosphere. Everywhere is very clean and the room is cozy. The staff is super friendly and helped me massively by allowing me to wash and dry my clothes after hiking in the rain. I also very much appreciated the water dispenser and selection of tea free of charge.
