Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. We are very happy that we were able to visit this place! We thank the host and everyone who made our stay here very comfortable. Importantly, the owner speaks English very well. The room is spacious and comfortable, has everything you need. We really enjoyed sleeping on the futon! Yukata and haori are wonderful. And it is impossible not to note the presence in the room of a Nintendo console with rare games: Mario, Zelda and others. 3 private onsen with different water temperatures. They are available to guests 24 hours and without restrictions. It is very convenient that you can watch online whether onsen is busy or not. This is a small thing, but it makes so comfortable to visit the hot springs, you do not need to go down from the room and check whether it is occupied or not. Well thought out! The common area is also wonderful. Here you can drink tea/coffee/water after visiting onsen. Use a massage chair, play games, read manga. Well, breakfast! Mmmmm, how delicious everything was! We also had a few requests for food, since we do not eat some products and the host replaced some items in the breakfast so that everything would suit us. Thanks for this care, it was so nice. This is a truly amazing experience that we will remember for the rest of our lives. Every time we remember living here with warmth and delight. We really hope to come here again someday.

BUNA KUSATSU Onsen Inn se nachází v destinaci Kusacu. Opičí park Džigokudani je 47 km daleko a Mt. Kusatsu Shirane 15 km. Location, staff, kitchen/common area and the private onsen. Parking lot was plenty. The hostess let us check-in early even though we arrived relatively early. The rooms were traditional style with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Minakami Onsen Aratashi Minakami se nachází v destinaci Minakami a nabízí ubytování se soukromými balkony. The property is modern, contemporary and clean. With a wonderfully calm atmosphere and great views of the near by hills and river. Each room has its own onsen on the balcony. The staff are friendly and so helpful. They even called ahead for us to see if some things we wanted to do were open. We can’t wait to come back!

This little Ryokan-style hotel was so nice that I missed it very much after leaving Kusatsu Onsen. I have stayed in a total of 14-16 hotels all over Japan by now (over the years) and this is easily one of the best (if not the very best). I appreciated the vegetarian breakfast very much: it was very elegant as well as nutritious. They also checked the ingredients with me. The wide Tatami mat area exceeded expectations: I could relax with panoramic views of the snow capped mountains while dining or just working (digital nomad-ing was easy with fast wifi). There were many drawers and cupboards: storage space was never an issue. The Toto Smart toilet was more advanced than those variants in 5-Star hotels. The hotel is proximate to all the important places and just opposite the bus stand: I only just had to cross the road with my luggage. I also discovered multiple short routes to Yubatake every single day (I stayed for three days). The same family/organisation also operates the Yume Hana restaurant next door and guests of Oyado Yukizumi receive a complimentary beverage service while dining in Yume Hana. The Yukata they provide is very nice and I wore the same to the main Onsens in the area. The staff are very caring and kind hearted, for example, when I was leaving, seeing that it was raining, they asked me to take their umbrella with me (I declined the same). Later, I missed the level of kindness and attention to each individual guest I received while staying here - that is something you will not get from large branded hotels. Thank you, Oyado Yukizumi, I was very touched.

Lyžařský rezort Gala Yuzawa je 36 km daleko. - Cleanliness and Service: The Ryokan was impeccably clean, and the staff were attentive and helpful, ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. - Panoramic Lounge View: The view from the lounge was spectacular. We arrived to a stunning sight of Tanigawa Mountain, which immediately set a serene tone for our stay. - Room Ambiance: We stayed in the "Tachibana" room, named after flowers. It was quiet, peaceful, and surprisingly spacious. The overall atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing city getaway. - Private Onsen: The private onsen was the highlight of our stay, offering a tranquil and rejuvenating experience. - Dining Experience: Both dinner and breakfast were impressive, with beautifully prepared and delicious meals.

Hanaingen is an adult only accommodation situated in Kusatsu, just a 2-minute walk from Yubatake, or the hot water field in Kusatsu Onsen. From the second we stepped onto the threshold of this hotel, we felt welcomed and super cozy. Although the lady at the reception didn't speak English, she still did her best to explain everything we needed to know about the hotel and the area. We also had complimentary sweets and participated in a small tea ceremony, which was something we, as tourists visiting Japan for the first time, appreciated so much. The place had four private onsen rooms, with all the necessities you might need, such as different shampoos, towels, hairbrushes and cotton pajamas after the bath! Sleeping on the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. Yubatake was 1 minute away from us. The breakfast was delicious. I wish we had stayed there longer!

Kane Midori se nachází jen 3 minuty chůze od známého horkého pramene Yubatake a nabízí masáže a vlastní termální koupele. Japonské pokoje mají futonové postele a západní koupelnu. Beautiful mix between traditional Japanese and modern hotel with all the facilities needed. Epitomises Japanese care and services. Everything is meticulously clean and laid out to perfection, works like clockwork. The tea upon arrival, hotel onsen and yukata were a lovely part of the experience. The location was in the middle of everything. I would definitely stay here again
