The room was exactly as it was described. Amazing amazing amazing staff they were extremely kind and helpful. Private onsen were available 24/7 with no time limit per use. Excellent place to stay in Kusatsu and I will definitely come back again to this facility

BUNA KUSATSU Onsen Inn está ubicado en Kusatsu, a 47 km de Parque de los Monos de Jigokudani y a 15 km de Mt. Kusatsu Shirane. The room was bright and clean, and the private onsen was amazing. There is a kitchen and a shared space where you can experience a traditional Japanese kotatsu. Everything was great except that the property is located on a hill, so you have to climb to reach nearby places. The road was very slippery on snowy days, and we almost slipped several times. I would not recommend this place for travelers with elderly people or young children.

Tanigawa Valley Lodge & Coffee Roastery está ubicado en Minakami, a 36 km de Centro de esquí Gala Yuzawa, y ofrece alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, estacionamiento privado gratis, un jardín y salón... It's location. You're surrounded by the mountains. Set this as our base to went up the tanigawadake ropeway. The owner even set us up with a nearby onsen for a private onsen trip. It was very refreshing walking from the onsen back to the accommodation. We even got to cycle around the area using their electric bicycle. Wish I had more time to cycle around. Maybe for the next visit.

This is the first ever hotel I am giving a 10/10. Honestly was the best stay ive ever had. The location was great, just across from the bus stop. The room was clean and tidy, Yukatas left in room for us to use. The host was so kind and friendly, she even gave us a larger Yukata to wear! The breakfast was an amazing mix of Western meets Japanese, and was delivered to our room for us! She even brought welcome tea and snacks to our room when we arrived as well! Overall, the best hotel stay of our Japan trip so far!

Kusatsu Hotel Bekkan Wata no Yu (Adult Only) está ubicado en Kusatsu, a 45 km de Parque de los Monos de Jigokudani y a 14 km de Mt. Kusatsu Shirane. This hotel made our trip to Kusatsu Onsen extra special and I am so glqd we chose this hotel. First of all, the owner is a very kind, bright, and nice person. She was always most helpful and kind (we would have made a big transport mistake without her help, she even called the bus company to help us find the best route). The rooms were modern Japanese, beautiful, spacious, and clean. There were comfortable yukatas to wear inside as well as ones to wear outside, which allowed us to enjoy touring Kusatsu in yukatas. On the day we arrived there was a delicious macha pudding waiting in the fridge! The amenities were excellent and everything was designed beautifully. The location is very near to everything you might want to see in Kusatsu Onsen while still being in a nice, peaceful spot. The main shopping streets, yubatake, a beautiful park full of hot springs, and so many other things are just a few minutes away. There is an onsen and a sauna at the hotel, the space is soothing, beautiful, and clean. Going to bathe there was a very relaxing way to end the day and really enjoy the onsen water Kusatsu is famous for. In these spaces too the amenities were excellent. We had an excellent experience and would certainly choose this hotel again. And thank you so much again to the very kind owner! :)

Minakamisansou está ubicado en Minakami, a 36 km de Centro de esquí Gala Yuzawa, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y estacionamiento privado gratis. El mejor hotel de todo nuestro viaje. Las vistas desde la habitacion y el onsen privado a la montaña Tanigawa eran impresionantes. Solo por eso hubiera merecido la pena pero es que además la cena fue riquisima. Más de 10 platillos en los que se veia la intención del chef y el uso de ingredientes de temporada. La camarera que nos atendió tanto en la cena como el desayuno hablaba muy bien inglés y fue encantadora. Repetiría sin duda.

Hanaingen is an adult only accommodation situated in Kusatsu, just a 2-minute walk from Yubatake, or the hot water field in Kusatsu Onsen. From the second we stepped onto the threshold of this hotel, we felt welcomed and super cozy. Although the lady at the reception didn't speak English, she still did her best to explain everything we needed to know about the hotel and the area. We also had complimentary sweets and participated in a small tea ceremony, which was something we, as tourists visiting Japan for the first time, appreciated so much. The place had four private onsen rooms, with all the necessities you might need, such as different shampoos, towels, hairbrushes and cotton pajamas after the bath! Sleeping on the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. Yubatake was 1 minute away from us. The breakfast was delicious. I wish we had stayed there longer!
