The bus from Johanna station stops 20 meter from the house, same stop to go to the villages, so you dont need a car to visit this place. Very beautifully renovated house with old elements and modern comfort. Super friendly owner. Nice tofushop, Japanese bakery and small supermarket closeby. Also very Nice to scroll around the house. Been 4 times to Japan and would absolutely recommend to stay here!

You have your own space in the dormitory with tatami mats and it’s very close to a tattoo-friendly onsen, bus station and to a lake. The owner and the staff was friendly! There are not many people in the guesthouse, so it’s a really nice place to calm down.

Located in the Gokayama hot-spring area, Gokasanso offers Japanese and Western-style accommodations with a flat-screen TV. The staff, food and onsen were all incredible.
