We had a delicious dinner, and no matter that the restaurant was full, they have table for us as guests.

Just 300 metres from Arthur’s Pass train Station, it offers free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi access. It was in a quiet spot just outside the village with individual well stocked chalets and very comfortable beds.

The children’s playground has a trampoline and swings. Guests can relax in the wooden hot tub, which features views of the gardens and mountains (charges apply).

Ski storage facilities are available, along with ski equipment tuning and waxing tools. In-room continental can be delivered to the rooms each morning. We loved our staycation at Achway Motels and Chalets. Host Mark was exceptionally helpful and accommodating towards the guests requests. The accommodation had everything one would need for a comfortable stay including paid laundry and hot tubs. Our toddler enjoyed the swings and the trampoline in the kids play area at the front. The kitchen was well equipped including a microwave oven, and dishwasher. The rooms were very clean. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would give it a five star rating and would highly recommend this place. We would surely love to stay here again during our next visit to Wanaka
