Great pool area, nice breakfast, brilliant view, games room. A really nice family atmosphere. We loved the stay. Excellent value for money!

First of all the responses and replies from Paula and Marcia were excellent, prompt and informative. Never have we seen such quick responses any time of the day...I was -4hr GMT. The apartment was clean and comfortable...All amenities for a comfortable stay was available. .They were there to greet us and explained everything in detail. They arranged a nice, must visit, cheese making factory. The breakfast was excellent. Looking forward to our next trip. Thanks once again Paula and Marcia...you made our New Year Bright! Highly recommended.

The owners have clearly invested a lot of thought into making our stay pleasant. We also received clear instructions on how to check in and check out by ourselves, which was great. It's easy to navigate the property, and considering the price, it's a great place to stay. The location is excellent, easy access to supermarkets, and the surrounding area is beautiful.

Casa do Fundo - Sustainable & Ecotourism se află în Seia și pune la dispoziție vedere la munte, o piscină în aer liber, o grădină, un lounge comun, o terasă și un bar. Experiencing Casa do Fundo is like experiencing a piece of history in the Serra d’Estrela foothills. Pedro greats you with a warm welcome to his Bed and Breakfast which was first run by his grandparents in this beautifully maintained and restored 120 year old building. The building and it’s out buildings tell the story of the neighborhood if take the time to ask questiones. The beautiful “forno” in the side yard was shared by the neighbors on bread day- but now his bread is delivered fresh with the honk of a horn. Pedro has maintained a lot of the antique furniture and it is a privilege to use it. It appears that he serves the wonderful typical Portuguese breakfast with his grandmothers dishes. Note- this breakfast is typical for the types of foods provided, but atypical for the variety of cheeses, breads, sweets and cereals that he offers. The location is country side, a short drive out of Seia where you are greeted by the sheep that stay nearby at night. If you like to experience the history and culture of Portugal, appreciate beautiful landscaping and a warm personality- choose Pedro’s. If you like cookie cutter lodging and standard food- you need to go somewhere else.
