At first, I thought this place was a bit basic for the price. But after staying in five other hotels in Romania, I realized it was the best value for money. The views are incredible — probably some of the best on the Transalpina road. There are plenty of places to eat and things to do nearby. I especially recommend Tara Restaurant. We tried a few, and that one stood out. The owner is amazing. He did a great job, even without knowing much English. We used the sauna and hot tub two days in a row. It felt great to end a day full of hiking and exploring with a proper bathhouse session. We really recommend this place.
