From the moment I was welcomed into the premises by Jeanette and Micke's smiling faces and warmth, it took m by surprise just how much thought and care went into the smallest of details, whether it be the very lit up bar with a creative flair in spades, the NASA themed bathroom which was so dope, the clean and homely rooms or the spacious living area and everything in between. Superb service and the hosts were very hospitable and kind, and made it feel more like a getaway to a home away from home, which is rare these days, and I would definitely go back there for a longer period when I get the chance! Highly recommend to anyone who's going towards the area or for a concert at Dalhalla like I did!

Located in Mora, Bubo mysigt litet hus i Noret is a recently renovated accommodation, 37 km from Dalhalla Amphitheatre and 3.2 km from Vasaloppet Museum. We had wonderful days in this lovely little house. Very welcoming hosts, a beautiful location on the quiet outskirts of Mora, on-site parking; highly recommended!

Set in Mora and only 42 km from Dalhalla Amphitheatre, Mormors vrå offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Very cosy in a quite neighbourhood close to Siljan. A mere 30 minute walk in to the city centre. Host was very nice and accommodating. The little “grannyflat” was small but had all the as amenities you could wish for. And parking up front.

Dalastugan, a property with a garden, is set in Mora, 17 km from Vasaloppet Museum, 18 km from Zorn Museum, as well as 27 km from Dala Horse Museum. The property was immaculate and nestled in beautiful forest and wildflowers. This is a must see place if you want to be in nature.

Located in Mora, in a historic building, 47 km from Dalhalla Amphitheatre, Stallet - Hemma hos Mait is a holiday home with free bikes and garden. Loved the renovation of an old barn to a self -contained apartment. Great facilities with the kitchen, fridge and washing machine. We also loved the linens. The number of beds was perfect and it was a great base from which to explore Mora and celebrate midsommar in Dalarna.

Hotell Kung Gösta is just around the corner from Mora Train Station and 20 minutes’ walk from the Zorn Museum. Tomteland Theme Park is only a 15-minute drive from the hotel. Very friendly staff that made a solo traveller welcome. Buffet meals had plenty of choice for breakfast and dinner. Having a small indoor pool and sauna was great but I did not have time to explore these fully. Bag drop and shower after my cross country ski race and after check out was the icing on the cake. 5 min walk to train station has to be up there too.

The most elegant room this far on our vacation. Dalarna decor - Dala horse curtains, embroidery pillows, tiled bathroom with heated towel racks. Great breakfast buffet. They even gave me their recipe for lingolimpa bread!
