Perfect from beginning to end.

Peaceful and quite surroundings, brand new rooms with huge bathroom , king sized bed and a table were i could finish up some work , staff is there for you any time of day extremely helpful and involved. Primary plan was just to spend the night and keep on going , but hospitality and views from a room balcony aswell as heated outside swimming pool made me change my mind and extend my stay , recommend for both looking for a piece of paradise to relax , and those who would like to keep it more active.

Excellent hotel with great facilities for families. They thought about every detail to make the place suitable for children and adults to enjoy. The owner and staff were super helpful and friendly. The hotel interior is beautiful. The room was very spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view. We loved the reception area as well, both for its design and the games availability. The view and atmosphere from SaaAlm restaurant were amazing, with a great playground and water slide just beside it. There is a horse stable on site and many activities both at the hotel and in the surrounding area.

I liked the place and the one who runs the place with his wife is the best people and their services are excellent

Everything was perfect . I have booked this hotel for my nephew for his honeymoon which he enjoyed and was happy with hospitality . The hotel is very clean, room are getting cleaned every day, staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location is very quite

The location is marvelous, and the hotel is centrally located, but away from the main street. The hotel feels like home - a beautiful home. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent.

The rooms were very clean and spacious with lots of amenities including spa towels, spare rucksack and walking sticks for anyone hiking the local national park. It’s a very comfortable room and we had a double aspect and balcony which was lovely to admire the view of the mountains. The staff were exceptional in making our stay with them the best it could be. The food is exceptional and I highly encourage booking half board as you will not regret it. The breakfast is varied for all diets and the quality of ingredients is extremely good. If staying for dinner you will get a menu at breakfast for dinner with 4 choices of main dinner. The choice of buffet starter is delicious and then there is always a soup choice too. I absolutely loved the soups such as tomato consommé. Then the main dinners and desserts are excellent, I honestly cannot speak highly enough about how great the restaurant is, the creativity of the dishes, flavours and presentation are exceptional. Dishes such as the dessert of lingonberry pancakes with sour ice and local wild blueberries had us talking how delicious it was several times the next day! Then other thoughtful touches like a daily MorganPost newsletter giving weather predictions, hiking routes and things to do as well as offers from the spa were really appreciated. Overall I would highly recommend staying at this lovely hotel. The quality of everything from the amenities, the cleanliness, the staff and restaurant are excellent. We had to leave to get our flight before breakfast started and this came up just by chance in a conversation and we were immediately invited to the restaurant thirty minutes early so as not to miss out on breakfast before our journey. You would not get this from a big chain of hotels and shows just how much guests are valued at the Sonnerhof.
