Everything was very clean and tidy. Room was a bit smaller than your average hotel room, but on the other hand the bathroom was bigger than average. Parking in a garage right next to the hotel. Jacuzzi and infrared cabine available 24/7. Well received by the owner on arrival, very friendly. Even though the hotel is located right next to a hospital, it's very quiet and it did not disturb at any time.

The large rooms in the renovated building are beautiful and have great blackout curtains for children to sleep and nap. Large curtain in the middle of the room allows children to sleep in one side and adults on the other. Great views. Beach club is excellent and family friendly. Play ground on grounds is excellent. We loved everything. The location was excellent. The hotel is close to everything. Although it is on the other side of the train station and pier, it’s actually just a 5 to 10-minute walk. The chapel bridge is between the wall from the station and hotel. Behind the hotel, about 10 to 15 minutes of walking, are the Lion Monument and the Glacier Garden. At check in, we knew it was going to be an excellent stay. The concierge, Noah (I hope I spelled his name right), immediately made us feel welcome. He gave us information, tips and suggestions that made life easier for us. The lady who delivered our room service was so very wonderful as well. The customer service is just top notch: professional and yet warm. Everything about our room was just wonderful. It was huge, the bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was clean and huge, and the view was just to die for. Check out was painless and quick, with the same efficient and yet warm customer service. I can’t say enough good things. If we have the chance, we would love to visit Luzern so we could stay in Hotel Schweizerhof again.

Every element of our stay at Donat and Lina's Welness Alpengarten has been simply amazing! Located in a beautiful region, close to highlights such as Lucerne and Mount Pilatus, but remote enough to enjoy the serene Swiss nature. We were received very well by our hosts, explaining every detail of the facilities, while also providing tips and guidance on activities in the area. Breakfast was served royally, which could be consumed in the beautiful garden. The retreat itself is equipped with everything one could wish for, and recharge completely by enjoying the multiple private wellness facilities. We would love to come back here once more, and enjoy another Indonesian Nasi Goreng in the peaceful Swiss mountains!
