Very nice hotel, it is in the style of Bayern. The staff in the breakfast room were traditional clothes, the furniture is very traditional too. This is why I love this area. The rooms are nice with A/C and ours had a nice balcony with the most beautiful view. Breakfast is rich for Germany. You can have a real good dinner with different options. Pool is not big but very nice ( much nicer than the pictures). Saunas, fitness, a nice room with clean air that smells unbelievable good. Massages available. Opposite the railway station and near 2 big supermarkets and a big DM shop. Pizzeria and ice cream shop is opposite the street. You get the kurcard which give you free rides on the bus and train in the area.

Great location, half way between Salzburg, Berchtesgaden and a 75min trip to Hallstatt via car. Hotel is amazing- nice room size w/couch, comfy bed and plenty of room for suitcases, eg: shrunk. Huge bathroom. 300m flat walk from hotel in Germany to bus stop in Austria (to Salzburg). Bus is free (part of the spa tax at hotel) to Salzburg (where parking is an issue). This hotel has more amenities than any I've stayed at previously (& we travel a lot): very good breakfast/free; counted 19 bikes available for touring the roads/hiking paths for free (all the bikes were kept in amazing shape); indoor pool (& outdoor pool that was a little chilly in October); 2 saunas (at roughly 30C); weight area; exercise area with 2 or 3 cardio machines and the best part- running paths in every direction- typically ran 5-10 miles every morning, loved it. Hotel was absolutely beautiful, could take pic's of it from magazines.
