I stayed at this hotel some ten years ago and thought it one of the most pleasant places I had ever been. It shows its age a bit now—the bathroom could be refreshed, and there is no air conditioning—but it is still exceptional. Unlike so many places on the Baltic coast, Dierhagen is not spoiled by droves of tourists. If I had more money, I would happily spend a week or two here.

Beautifully located behind dunes, spread out resort with fabulous amenities. Everyone working there was friendly and accommodating. A special shout-out to the lovely woman working in the boutique!

Well, I simply liked everything in this place. The breakfast and dinner buffet were really nice, the staff was friendly, and I love the swimming pool, spent half a day there, because at that season the baltic sea was still to chilly and the weather on these two days in March/April was a little rainy too.
