Everything. I've been here before, so I knew exactly what I was getting and it did not disappoint. The place is perfect for a weekend stay or for a longer holiday. It can serve as a great stay-in place or as a home base for exploring the island. The hotel is adjacent to a large supermarket, 20m from a beautiful beach that runs shallow a long way out (ideal for children), has a large pool area, including a heated pool, entertainment for young and old, good in-house catering and a brilliant restaurant located right next door (Hawaii). It's also close enough to the centre of Alcudia that you can walk it in 20 minutes to seek out the more lively nightlife if that is what you seek. That's not really our beat, though, and the laid back atmosphere of the hotel and its surroundings is what we find most attractive. The rooms are huge and are equipped with a stove, kettle and everything you would need to dine in should you choose to cook yourselves, including plates, bowls, fridge, freezer, cutlery, etc. Coupled with the supermarket across the street, that is a luxury that we greatly appreciate as we try to maintain a relatively normal diet to the one we keep at home. The staff are accommodating, polite, professional and friendly. Full marks to the staff, particularly Olga who was quick to help when we encountered a slight discomfort that was of no fault of the hotel or its staff. We look forward to our next visit to Alcudia and Ivory Playa as it has quickly become a family favorite.
