Beautiful English country house hotel - with lovely English country gardens. Staff were a particular strong point. We had a group with numerous dietary requirements which were all met and delivered without any fuss. Service in the Michelin rated dining room was first class at dinner. Very pleasant areas at spa, both inside and outside, to relax in whether or not having treatments. Overall an excellent hotel experience.

Even the dog friendly rooms are pristine and have a lovely welcome pack for your dog. There are separate areas in the hotel for dog friendly breakfasts so non dog lovers can also enjoy their space. The dog friendly areas are by no means second class, in fact we preferred them.

I enjoyed more the breakfast than the dinner that was maybe a little overpriced. I would anyway recommend for sure this place to stay or to eat while in Castle Combe.

Bed was a little soft as I have back trouble but I'm sure for others would be comfy enough. Breakfast was delicious as was all the food we had in the restaurant.
