What a lovely hotel! Enjoyed drinks and food at the bar area then walked around the beautiful grounds and through a pathway to a small, old church. Nice surprise! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating.

Beautiful house and fabulous gardens. The bar lounge and dining room both very attractive. Dinner excellent and restaurant staff very good. The rooms are comfortable and attractive. And the value for money is amazing.

With a spa, the Macdonald Alveston Manor Hotel & Spa has an award-winning restaurant and gardens and terrace. The River Avon is 1312 feet away and Stratford-Upon-Avon is a 5-minute walk.

This is one of the best places I have ever stayed in and I travel extensively around the world. What I loved was the size of the estate, the greenery, peace, space and beauty all around. The room was enormously big - did not know such a room exist in a UK hotel. The feeling about the place - from the staircase to the old wardrobe in the room was great. High ceilings, excellent bed, great comfort, spacious bathroom. It was quiet, pleasant, beautiful. Even the fridge did not make any noise. There was a variety of soft drinks for free in the fridge. Did not wish to leave and would love to go back.

Could not fault it in any way,from the warm welcome when we arrived to our departure the staff were so pleasant and helpful without being intrusive.We had lovely modern Room23 in the courtyard.Food and service excellent particularly breakfasts.Relaxed ambience.

We'd booked a double queen room for 2 adults and 2 kids and got a king with two pull out beds, in a very quiet corridor. Everyone slept SO well and it was all very comfortable!
