From the moment you arrive you’ll feel like royalty. Everything was first class, the staff were lovely and we stayed in the main house which was a beautifully maintained building with so much character and unique features and antiques. The beds were comfy and room had a generous tea and coffee tray with bottled water. The garden view made it almost impossible to believe its only a few mins to the main road. We also thoroughly enjoyed the use of the spa facilities. Breakfast was excellent.

Just a short stroll from York Minster, the city center and York rail station, Hedley House Hotel & Apartments offers a peaceful escape.

The staff was excellent from the time we arrived until check out, everyone was very friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist. Both dinner and breakfast was excellent, enjoyed talking with the staff. Room was very nice, the location had an ideal view. Nice grounds for a stroll prior to dinner. Very quiet setting.
