The staff are exceptionally nice , the service is amazing. Rooms are clean, views are spectacular from the rooms. We wrote a comment after booking asking for a high floor room and our request was taken into consideration. The beach is really nice to swim in with plenty of space through a combination of beds and bean bags . Breakfast is also amazing with a combination of ordering from a breakfast menu along with an open buffet. We couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay and will definitely come back again!

Completely renovated in 2018 and enjoying a prime location in the center of Opatija, Hotel Imperial - Liburnia is just steps away from Slatina beach.

Felt very welcome, from the very beginning- Ivan at the front desk made us feel so welcome, giving us great advice on what places to visit, and all the amenities at the hotel. The breakfast indeed is excellent, there is something for every taste. The attention at the spa is also worth mentioning, a nice sauna after a long day is great. We enjoyed the view from our very large room, great to relax on the balcony with view to the sea.

Hotel Kvarner - Liburnia features an outdoor swimming pool and a beach. It offers free WiFi, an air-conditioned restaurant and a summer terrace above the sea.

The hotel was gorgeous. You could feel its unique history and also its grandeur. It is obviously a special place and staying there, we felt special as well. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. It's worth staying here just for the excellent support they provided at check in, check out, and several other times when we had questions. We spent an afternoon just swimming, relaxing and enjoying the sea at the hotel beach and swimming pool, which were lovely. We also enjoyed walking along the promenade and exploring the town. All of the different rooms that people in my group stayed in were clean, elegantly decorated, and very nice overall. The one with the seaside view and balcony was something special, though. If you are wavering, reserve that and enjoy the view!

Location was great, right on the lungomare. Dario went above and beyond. He met us outside, got us a better room and transferred our luggage while we went for a long walk. Nice little hotel. Incredibly clean. I really liked breakfast. It was the standard European eggs, meat, cheeses etc but everything was fresh and replenished quickly. We also has a late dinner (grilled squid) at the restaurant. I was the only client but service and food was great.
