The hotel is in line with its class, very modern, Western style and as soon as you enter the lobby, you are greeted by helpful staff. Although we arrived earlier than check-in time, we were given a room quite quickly, they even took us to show us if it was suitable for us. Since we were together with a teenage child, an extra bed was set up. The service is at a high level, all the staff are helpful, room service kept asking if anything was missing, and brought us bottled water. The ventilation in the room works well, the air in the room is pleasantly dry, you don't feel the humidity from outside. There is carpet in the room, so it's cozy. Everything is very clean, there are no smells from either the bedding or artificial fragrances in the corridors. There is a small but good pool on the 11th floor, towels are provided. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, helpful waiters, and dishes are prepared to order for breakfast.

The customer service was flawless, with staff who were not only professional but genuinely warm and attentive. Everything—from the check-in process to the smallest personal touches—was handled with care and grace. The location is unbeatable, with views of the Gateway of India and the Arabian Sea just steps away. My mornings began with an incredible breakfast spread offering a vast array of delicious options from across India and beyond. The culinary excellence was matched only by the service and presentation. What truly set this experience apart was the sense of history that envelops the hotel. A special thank you to Mr. Newton, the in-house historian, who spent two hours personally walking me through the rich legacy of the palace. Having worked there for over 44 years, his stories, insights, and passion brought the walls of the hotel to life. It was like walking through time, guided by someone who had lived it. I only stayed four days, and it wasn’t nearly enough. I didn’t want to leave. Next time, I’ll be staying longer—because the Taj isn’t just a place to sleep; it’s a destination in itself. Thank you to everyone at the Taj Mahal Palace for creating memories I will cherish forever. I can’t wait to return.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious and so much variety was available. The restaurants on site are exceptional. We had dinner on the 37th floor at MeKong and it was amazing. Another night we ate in the more casual restaurant and the variety of food and taste were exceptional. Our personal butler Mao was extremely friendly and provided us with amazing service. I highly recommend the St Regis Mumbai

Everything. Including services, professional friendly staff. Helpful at each and every step. We're grateful to Mr. TAHA & MISS PRERNA at the reception, who guided and helped us in every aspect. We were not comfortable at 19th floor, without any delay Mr. Taha upgraded and shifted us to the room of our choice, where we were very satisfied and confortable. Breakfast options were a bit limited but overall was good as i could see there was less wastage. Food ordered in the room was delicious and maintained the right quality standards.

We had an excellent time. The hotel is close to the airport. The facilities are world class. Breakfast was outstanding. The spa was amazing! We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in Mumbai.
