The cruise is close to brand new. There are 4 floors: lobby, rooms & suites, bar & restaurant, and upper deck. The room we stayed in has a big space, traditional style, and is very clean. The bathroom has a rain shower and a separate jacuzzi bathtub, and we could see a beautiful view through the bathroom's big window. There is also a balcony that we could sit and chill on, drink our beer, and enjoy peaceful and quiet Halong Bay scenery. The staff (Johnny, Tommy, Mr. Vien Manager, et al.) is very friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. They ensured our memorable experience. A round-trip private car from Hanoi to Halong Bay was arranged well (2.5 hrs on the expressway). We were picked up from the hotel in Hanoi at 9:15 am. The room included 3 meals a day, water activities (cruising & kayaking), and an excursion (bicycle tour) at Cat Ba. We highly recommend a 3-day and 2-night stay. On the last day, we left something on the cruise. The staff, especially Thuy Dang, was very helpful and thoughtful to manage to deliver our stuff in Hanoi. We really appreciate it.

Fabulous cruise and well worth the money. This is once in a lifetime experience for me personally and I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I was able to meet other solo travelers and we had an amazing time together. The excursions were really fun and there was a never ending supply of food for the guests. The pool was amazing and so was the happy hour. Alcohol isn’t included in the fare but the prices aren’t that bad (even for a luxury cruise). The gym is excellent and I was able to sneak in an early morning workout. Fortunately, the weather was great when we were on the cruise and the sunset was fabulous to watch. Halong Bay had a lot of cruises around the area but I wouldn’t call it crowded. Also, amazing customer service. The pickup from Hanoi, the waiting area in Halong, the boarding and disembarking and finally the drop off. Essence Grand is running a fabulous service here and I wouldn’t hesitate to pay for it. The staff are quite amazing and honestly, they are the biggest reason why this cruise is a massive success. Thank you so much for making it a fabulous trip.

All the food was delicious and plentiful. The staff were friendly & helpful….especially Harry & Tomy were great ,Owen and Kenny were fantastic . The person who took us on the speed boat (can’t remember his name) to the village etc., was knowledgeable. He did his job well. The accommodation was excellent, has to be seen to be appreciated. We enjoyed the trips & the activities. We had a wonderful time on the cruise. Thank you Venus .

The Yacht and the crew were fantastic.. Manager Will diligently led a very professional and attentive to details staff. They were clearly trying their best, which is something to be cherished.     Everything was amazing....the staff, the food (buffet breakfast and 4 course lunches/dinners), the boat and room, the activities....all of it. We had the most magical time and the staff made it even better. Being a smaller boat meant we all had more private space which felt more exclusive. Highly recommend for anyone planning a cruise...and highly recommend 2 nights to get the most out of it

    The pick up was organised by the company and was a luxury mini bus van, very good. The welcome meal was very good, menu provided and well served by TINA who was a constant pleasure and help throughout our trip. Very relaxing boat, not really too full and plenty of space on deck. Several activities available if required and the staff were very friendly at all times. Well organised as it needed to be . Halong Bay is very picturesque and a must if in the Hanoi area

    Children Play Centre. Its more than Australian child care centre. and outside playground, with kids safe entrance. Beach, Swimming pool at the same place. Kids swimming pool with Inflated floats, which let adults to have relax time. Anytime food , cocktail at the beach or swimming pool. Beautiful landscaping. lots of relaxing time with a touch luxury. Good Breakfast buffet. Mainland has lot of nice restaurants for different experience.

    The room had a beautiful view and the as nice and spacious. The hotel had a more luxury feeling than other places we’ve stayed in Vietnam. Amazing pool with some really comfy chairs and a beautiful view. Breakfast had a good selection of food for Vietnamese and western! The door staff were lovely and helpful! They brought a cake up for my birthday which was a nice touch!

    We had a wonderful stay at Vinpearl Resort & Spa Halong Long for our anniversary. Our room has the best ocean view. Staff are professional , friendly and very helpful. Room is nice and clean and amenities are replenished every day. Bed is very comfortable. Foods are nice in breakfast restaurant and buffet restaurant. The spa and sauna are very good. Will come back to Vinpearl for our holiday next time in Halong. Thank you for making our stay such a memorable time.

    Really beautiful villas, perfect for relaxing. Room service was very affordable, beach was close by. Plenty of choice at breakfast, the villas are super spacious. It’s perfect if you want a couple of days just soaking up the sun.
