Surrounded by the scenic Tyrolean mountains, Hotel Riedl is situated between the picturesque Walchsee Lake and the village of Kössen. It features an indoor pool and a spa area. The hotel is close to several ski zones. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We particularly enjoyed the pool and spa. Great experience overall.

The breakfast was very good and fresh with a wide variety of choice, including local delicacies. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We used the gym to which had good modern equipment and a great view!

People were uber supportive during my stay and even kept an eye on me during the race - my chain broke ad the owner Georg waited for me (thankyou again). I'll be back swim bike run routes v good - the only frustration was out of their control - drivers are quite aggressive on the roads... On a TT bike that can cause alot of wabbling when descending so i had to be pretty careful. unless required i would take road bike.

Das Walchsee Resort consists of two distinct buildings: Das Walchsee Aktivresort is centrally located in the village and combines modern comfort with traditional Tyrolean charm. Newly built hotel that is part of Das Walchsee hotel which is 10 min walk. The down side which wasn't clear at Booking.Com website is that the SPA and wellness area is in the hotel at the city. Again 10 min walk but not at the same space. When it's raining not a pleasant walk with the bathrobe from one location to the other. Except for that the lakeside hotel is really remarkable.
