The Heilthermen Resort Bad Waltersdorf is located in the Thermen- & Vulkanland in the East Styrian hill country, Eastern Styria’s hill country, 60 km from Graz. The property gave us a free room upgrade to a suite, which was amazing; beautiful modern room with a huge deck. the hotel-only spa area was amazing and very peaceful.

We spent a marvelous holiday at Rogner Bad Blumau. I asked for an extra bed for my 4 years old son. Not only I was not charged for it, we also had a room much bigger than expected (and that we used to have in our previous stay). With two kids in the room that was amazing! Kids had place to move around even when we were in the room. The staff was always nice and accomodating. This is very mucg appreciated always, but with a 1-year-old that is in the phase of throwing food on the floor, it is appreciated even more! The spa is nice. There are a lot of different options. The food is excellent. The staff is great! There are big bowls with apples at the receptions, and the guests can take an apple from there. I found this small detail very generous and touching. Thanks a lot for our amazing stay. Everyone from our family was happy: kids, us, grandfathers and grandmothers.

The staff were very kind, especially the owner, who was friendly and open. The hotel and its location are just like in the pictures — a beautiful area with plenty of hiking trails nearby.

The hotel left a truly wonderful impression — from the overall atmosphere to the thoughtful design and philosophy of the place. You can really feel the care for guests and the professionalism of the staff. Breakfasts and dinners were delicious, varied, and beautifully presented. The only thing we missed was a bit more space in the textile-free area — it felt smaller than expected and didn’t provide the full sense of relaxation. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back, hopefully when this area becomes more spacious.
