Situated in Grindelwald, 2 km from Grindelwald Terminal, Bergwelt Grindelwald - Alpine Design Resort features accommodation with a garden, private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. It was an extraordinary experience. As a couple exploring the Grindelwald region for the first time, we were absolutely captivated by this accommodation. Choosing a room with a view allowed us to wake up to a stunning panorama every day, and I highly recommend it. The location is centrally positioned, providing excellent access to nearby villages and hiking activities. The room quality, food, staff, and the hotel’s aesthetic were all impeccable. The underground parking was a nice bonus. The hotel kitchen was delightful. 10/10. If we return to the area, we will definitely stay here again. We already miss it!

The hotel is 600 metres from the First Cable Car Station and lies 100m above the centre of Grindelwald. Its rooms and sun terrace have magnificent views of the surrounding scenery. The hotel is stunning, the staff is super friendly (especially the people who work at breakfast). The room was super clean, and the view—oh my God—was incredible. We thought we were in a Tolkien movie. Upon checkout, they even gifted us some homemade tea. We would definitely come back again! :)

The Arc-en-ciel hotel in traditional Chalet style is a hotel situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of Gstaad, next to the Eggli cable car station, close to the car-free centre. An older house, but very well renovated rooms, extremely clean, helpful staff, a very nice private sauna and a nice pizzeria with crusty pizzas! An underground parking with charging capabilities rounded off this short weekend break.

EVERYTHING!!!! Location, facilities, staff is AMAZING! Melanie and the guy that is during the day are lovely! Breakfast was DELICIOUS. This hotel is just incredibly nice.

My wife and I stayed at Grindellodge for 4 nights, and we could not be happier with our experience. It was truly awesome from start to finish. The interior design is unique and delightful, featuring Japanese-inspired furniture and homely colors that make the space feel warm and inviting. On the practical side, the room was perfect. There was an excess of storage and plenty of places to hang our belongings, something we always miss in hotels. We also appreciated the thoughtful accessibility settings on the TV, which worked exactly as they should. The room even had its own heaters that made the space incredibly cozy. I ended up oversleeping more than once, wrapped in warmth like I was in a soft cocoon. Breakfast was another highlight. They kindly adjusted it to accommodate our needs and served it with such care that it genuinely felt personal. Everything in the lodge carries that same feeling. The whole place is clearly set with love and attention, and you feel it in every detail. We loved the calm location and spending time on the balcony soaking in the beautiful views. As a side note, I found myself treating the lodge as if it were my own home, because that is how safe, comfortable, and naturally welcoming it felt. But above all, the staff made our stay unforgettable. They were so sweet and treated us like family throughout our visit. It was a genuine, heartwarming experience. We highly recommend Grindellodge and can’t wait to return.

Offering a garden and garden view, Spring Inn Apartments is set in Meiringen, 14 km from Giessbachfälle and 46 km from Grindelwald Terminal. The location is very quiet and peaceful. There is a playground where my children enjoyed a lot. The view is amazing on three sides, each facing beautiful waterfalls. This was my first time visiting Switzerland, and the accommodation made the experience excellent. The host was also kind enough to give us an extra hour for checkout.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Hotel Zeit & Traum, and I must say, it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I've stayed in hotels across nearly 40 countries, and this one easily ranks in my top three. The hotel itself is immaculately clean and beautifully designed, but what truly sets it apart is the breathtaking view overlooking the lake—simply stunning. While the location itself may not be the most central, the incredible view more than makes up for it. You truly feel like you're in a tranquil, scenic paradise. However, the most memorable part of my stay was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable. Their genuine smiles, constant attentiveness, and eagerness to help made our experience unforgettable. A standout feature was the ever-present snacks and fruits, which were promptly refilled whenever they ran out. The attention to detail and level of care was remarkable. This level of customer service is hard to come by these days, and Hotel Zeit & Traum delivered it in spades. In short, this hotel combines a fantastic view with world-class service.
