Set in Matanzas, a few steps from Matanzas Beach, Hotel Pacífico offers accommodation with a terrace, free private parking and a restaurant. The accommodation features room service and free WiFi. Exceptional hotel, beautifully remodeled and in a fantastic location. You can walk off the hotel de king directly on to the beach! The staff was extremely helpful and great with communications. We arrived on Valentine's Day, and they comped sparkling wine and chocolates for us! Great breakfast, including egg, avocado, toast, cheese, juice, coffee and an eclair. Nice cafe on site, they are within a month or two of building out a full service restaurant.

Hotel Boutique Grand Cru has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and shared lounge in Santa Cruz. With a bar, the property also features a tennis court, as well as barbecue facilities. Juan and Carlos were extremely welcoming. The location is beautiful and peaceful, with a spacious room and an impressively large bathroom. The shower was excellent.

A lovely, homely hostel in a nice residential area and a great base for exploring the wine region. The room was very comfortable and very clean and a very comfortable bed. Very good air conditioning. Very clean bathroom and hot shower with shampoos and soaps. A very nice kitchen, well equipped and good breakfast. Good WiFi throughout. A nice garden and bbq area with outdoor tables and couches. Luna the dog is lovely and friendly and good natured, and a good guard dog, though she knows what time people are asleep and was quite during the night. Very good communication with the owners via what’s app, he spoke excellent English and had some great tips for wine tasting and restaurants. It really did feel like staying in someones home here, and a great place to meet other guests, but with enough privacy too.

Set in Santa Cruz's city centre, Casa Calfu offers accommodation only 220 metres from the main square, 600 metres from Casino de Colchagua, and 500 metres from Colchagua Museum. A little haven in Santa Cruz town. It’s quiet, comfortable and relaxing. The pool was lovey for an early morning dunk and an evening cool-off. We hired bikes from the place recommended by the hotel (good MTBs and great value) and cycled round the vineyards. Brilliant. I also had the best massage I’ve ever had in the lovey little studio by the pool. All the staff could not be more helpful. Breakfast was perfect.
