Typical large modern hotel in Asia, with large entrance foyer and lobby area. Rooms were good size, with picture windows and a superb view over the very nice grounds of the hotel and over to the river. Breakfast was good with a great range and choice from the buffet. Chefs on each station will also help out, with eg making a fresh omelette. Ask for the watermelon juice. The staff noted that it was one of our birthdays during our stay from our check-in details and the hotel provided a good sized birthday cake free of charge, which was a nice touch. The staff all were very friendly and tried to be helpful.

Located just around 15 minutes' walk from Zijingshan metro station on Line 1 and 2, Crowne Plaza features modern and classic rooms with free WiFi and flat-screen cable TVs. The staff were so attentive, helping in any way they could my taxi and train travel was all helped by the amazing front-of-house staff. The restaurant staff were brilliant, even the managers helped out when it was busy a really good team. The location is great, the famous Shaolin temple is not far from the amazing city.
