The on-site adults-only Despacio Spa Centre includes a heated swimming pool and a gym. I got a room on the fifth floor near the pool, but it was pretty tranquil anyway. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the staff was friendly and always eager to help. It is best suited for adults and older people, or maybe families with kids (over 13-15yo). Near the beach. The beach is lovely and has more quiet /warm water, which is calmer than Levante Beach (from the other side). The food in the hotel is okay. The food around the hotel is quite awful... or maybe it is because I'm not used to Mcdonald's kind of food or snacks. So, be aware there are almost zero excellent restaurants with clean food, and August is very touristy (crowded). Just wanted to mention - the hotel is new, built in 2020.

The apartment is not in the main building but it is really very close and easily accessible; they accompanied me; the apartment is modern, well furnished, clean, spacious, comfortable for a family of 3 or 4.

Great location, next to the beach, the stuff so polite and kind, always smiling and helpful, the food was very very good and at a great price, we ate every day in the hotel, lunch or dinner. We enjoyed so much the 3 swimming pools the hotel had, and spa with massage. We were with our kids, they had so much fun. We were planning on visiting other cities but because we enjoyed so much the hotel we prefered to stay in it and only visited Valencia

The breakfast was awesome - everything we tried tasted great. Our room was nicely furnished and had a nice view to the sea and mountains. Probably the best location in Calpe right on beautiful Arenal-Bol beach.

Hotel & Spa Castillo de Peñíscola 4* Sup has a cafeteria on site Papa Luna 4, and there is also a restaurant. The whole Hotel was extremely clean and everything in an as new condition. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had bad weather but the Hotel was lovely and warm throughout.
