Five Acres is a fantastic house with everything you could possibly need to make your stay enjoyable. The sauna and hot tub were a personal favourite. We also loved the addition of fresh tulips in the conservatory! It was perfect for our friend's hen party and every detail was thought of. Nancy and Howard replied to messages really quickly if we had any queries, and Howard met us on arrival to show us round. The sofas and beds were incredibly comfortable, and the table extended to fit all 17 of us round. Luckily, we had perfect sunny weather so spent a lot of time outside. There was a few little sun traps to enjoy. Overall a really lovely, clean property and can't recommend enough.

The property is non-smoking and is located 19 km from Buxton Opera House. it was near enough in the middle of Bakewell making it easy to get down to the town centre and have a walk around. plenty of things to do around that weren’t too far by car

The staff were incredible. Very intensive, knowledgeable and smiley. Dinner was perfect. Able to cater for our dietary requirements without fuss. Lots of flavour & great portion sizes. I definitely recommend the Thai Curry. Breakfast choice was amazing too. Again catering for all diets.

Free Wi-Fi is available across the hotel and not just in public areas. Staff were Fantastic, food was excellent we had Evening dinner and a Breakfast, All staff we encountered couldn’t do enough for you Wish it was longer than just a stopover as Hotel had lots to offer

The Palace Hotel Buxton has modern facilities, comfy rooms, a restaurant and parking (at an additional cost). It was very spacious and grand but not pretentious. Location fantastic. Good value for money.
