Beautiful and memorable resort and swimming pool water is almost like fresh water with no chlorine. Bed is comfortable. We dine at Hara for breakfast, dinner and the foods are delicious. Walk a bit further to the snorkelling spots and you can hand feed the endangered bird species. Snorkelling spots are frequented by lots of beautiful reef fishes and baby sharks.

Grand Mercure Lampung is a 5-star property set in Bandar Lampung. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a bar, as well as a hot tub. The breakfast was fantastic in a very large area with a great selection. Less than 5% of the tables were used while we were there from 9am to 10am. We ordered scrambled eggs with mushroom and they had to go and cut up mushrooms but were happy to do so. Our room was on the 20th floor and provided all we needed. They had a bar where we were able to buy a beer.

Situated in Tanjungkarang-Telukbetung, Sheraton is a 15-minute drive from Kartini Shopping Mall. It boasts multiple dining options, an outdoor pool and a spa. Stayed at Akar one night with family. Pleasantly suprised by the overall quality. The common areas and rooms were clean and well-maintained, though not brand new - you can tell the hotel has seen some time, but everything was still good conditions. The pool area was especially nice and inviting, perfect for relaxing, The staff were exceptionally helpful and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the food at the hotel restaurant - tasty and well- prepared. Overall Akar offers excellent value for money. A solid choice for a comfortable and affordable stay in Bandar Lampung.
