Coorg Wilderness Resort & Spa in Madikeri has 5-star accommodation with a fitness centre and a bar. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and room service, along with free WiFi. The resort offers infinity swimming pool, a well-equipped gym, a wide array of adventure activities and trekking. I have stayed in various hotels and resorts including Taj, Radisson, swissotel, intercontinental to name a few. But Coorg wilderness resort outshines all of it. The word excellent is insufficient to describe the resort. The best highlights are the location, food including dinner and breakfast. Also to note the staff are highly trained, kind and the best I have come across so far. I have to agree Paul John resorts have maintained excellent quality in all aspects.

Tours, nature walks and even cookery lessons can be arranged at the property. The location is exceptional. I visited Taj Madikeri during rain season and I found this experience unique and amazing. Food was delicious with local varieties. I tried extra programmes like hiking, forest walk and local guides were great and knowledgeable. I learnt a lot and enjoyed.

Free Wi-Fi access is provided. Excellent bungalows, very clean, and pristine forest and plantation surroundings. Most memorable is the staff and how we were treated - simply outstanding and helpful.

Vegetarian, halal and vegan options can also be requested. The location is amazing! Just at the edge of the forest, the only sounds you hear are birds. Simply gorgeous! The wilderness staff member was super informative and helpful. He gave us details on some super nice bike rides and even sent us a google maps itinerary for it!

A buffet breakfast is available at Gateway Coorg. Everything! And everyone! Exceptional hotel in a stunning location, with lovely facilities. The morning bird-watching walk with Ganesh was a highlight. Really exceptional staff, all of whom were genuine, friendly and went out of their way to be very welcoming and helpful.

Purple Palms Resort & Spa, Madikeri is 110 km from Mysore Airport and 160 km from Ooty. Bangalore International Airport is 275 km away. The breakfast had good range and the open air seats were so good. The ambience and greenery around the property was super. Rooms were spacious and clean.
