The hotel is excellently located near the airport (close enough to walk (5 mins)), although prior communication with the hotel (via WhatsApp) assured me that they would have sent a car to collect me. The staff are all pleasant, engaged and willing to help, even if your problem doesn't appear to be in their direct area. My experience was only enhanced (but am sure would have been the same) had I not been upgraded to a suite, but this was a nice touch that I'm sure they didn't need to do. I didn't get to experience most of the facilities of the hotel (pool, rooftop bar) due to time pressures, but the Restaurant was great... varied breakfast, better croissants that I get in US/ European hotels. Staff remember you personally. (maybe also that as a v.tall westerner I am somewhat distinctive!!)

I loved the location, the building is beautiful and the view of the mountains and hills of munnar from it is breathtaking. The staff is always helpful and greets you with a smile. They offer plenty of outdoor activities that I enjoyed, and an infinity pool that shows an amazing view. The room is also super clean and comfortable. Overall, I think Le Montfort Resort is a great place to feel at peace during your vacation, it allows to properly take a break from your everyday life and the staff do their best to make it a stress free stay (and they succeed in it!). Highly recommended :)

The hotel is beautifully located with stunning views of the valley and tea plantations. The staff is polite and attentive, rooms are clean and comfortable. It’s a great spot for nature lovers looking to relax in a scenic setting.

The hotel provided a pleasant environment which contributed to comfort and satisfaction throughout the stay. Excellent Indian cuisine and a wide variety of meals. Absolutely stunning location . Wonderful staff who bend backwards to give you want you want . One can never go wrong with a Taj .. Chef Raj and chef Sanil kumar were constantly meeting us to ensure we were comfortable. We even had a wonderful unique dining experience on our anniversary. Chef Sanil was personally involved in curating the menu. The Manager Restaurants , Mr Sajjith was exceptional. He was attending to us everyday and even making some cocktails with the limited inventory. Some people who made our trip memorable were - Sajjith , Raj & Sanil , Akshay and Ameer ( interns ).

When I returned to the property after two years, I was pleasantly surprised by how nicely it had been maintained. The staffs are well trained and extremely courteous. The suite was very well equipped and extremely spacious. They have one of the biggest spread for the Breakfast.

Resort Was beautiful, very well maintained and tastefully decorated. All areas felt like they had thought off, it’s a beautiful place and delight to stay. It has nice walks, bonfire place, water stream, walking or cycling option, gym, clean and well maintained swimming pool. Rooms are beautiful, with everything that one would want to make your vacation feel like one. We had taken the room with Mountain View, we had reasonable view, some of it was blocked by huge trees, we spotted few animals, it had a balcony, it had huge glass windows which was a delight to just lie down and enjoy the nature. It has good Wi-Fi signal through out the property. Reception The receptionist Sujit was very courteous, friendly, polite and very helpful. Manager We met Arijit- he is the organisational consultant. He was again extremely nice, pleasant, friendly. He took extremely good care of us through out our stay. He made us feel very special. He went there extra length to make sure we got original South Indian food, he got the chef to speak to is ensuring we got the food that we wanted. We wanted to watch the final football match, he made sure the projector was setup and even offered all the guests complimentary tea coffee and snacks. A small gesture which didn’t cost much but the effect was phenomenal on all of us. Staff All the staff have been trained to make all the guests feel special. They are very pleasant, polite and helpful, it was a delight interacting with all of them. They served with a smile and genuinely cared. Chef Benny Varghese came to us and made sure food was to our taste, he even cooked us original South Indian food. Waiter Altaf made us feel special with his very polite manner and smiling face. Food We enjoyed everything we ordered, we thought it was reasonably priced too for a resort. 5 stars to the chef Benny- he can cook really well and 5 stars to his team who serves the guests with a smile.

I absolutely loved staying at the Farmhouse. It’s a calm and grounding atmosphere in the mountains (with a lovely rooftop where you can do yoga or rest), still you can reach restaurants and other sights easily. The host is taking very good care of the guests, preparing homemade breakfast every morning. Would definitely stay there again :)
