The whole hotel is clean and nicely decorated. We had an unfortunate incident in our room and we didn't want to make a fuzz about it but the hotel staff were extremely apologetic and did all they could to make us feel comfortable by changing our room (which we did not expect). We truly loved the breakfast as well! So many different options and a nice selection of fruits were included. Dining in the hotel is quite pricey but expected of the place you are staying in. I was especially impressed that during the hi-tea session, my dietary requirements were filled without questions. You can see that they want all of the guests to have a good snack and not to be left out. Also, the hi-tea session had really-really amazing food options in general. I would say it was lavish, exactly as the hotel itself. If you want to enjoy the sea and the waves, the hotel has a little strip of beach that is being constantly cleaned by the staff. Just sit down, relax and look into the abyss of nature.

This family-run estate spread across 20-acres offers accommodation in Masinagudi at the foothills of the Nilgiris. Jungle Hut Resort features a swimming pool, restaurant and guests can have fun at the games room. Everything was perfect. I decided to go here after reading all the amazing reviews about this place, vibe, hospitality and food. And it did not disappoint :) The deers are everywhere!! We opted to go for the bird watching activity and the guide was extremely well versed with all the birds. They also have freshly made jams and pickles for sale. I love the fact that this place felt so homely and they employ the local folk from the nearby village. If you're lucky, you might end up spotting elephants or bears.
