Situated conveniently in Florence, Hotel La Gemma offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, private parking and room service. The attention to detail is spectacular. We really appreciated the small things; the welcome note and chocolate, the welcome Prosecco, the attentive response of staff, help booking dinners, turn down service. We felt extremely well cared for and we would come back in a heartbeat. We did not have time to fully take advantage of the hotel offerings as there was so much for us to see in Florence. The breakfast is so beautiful and the cocktails to die for. Returning to Florence would be in part enticing to be able to return to La Gemma.

This 11th century Tuscan farmhouse is nestled in the beautiful Florentine hills, amongst private gardens where you can enjoy al fresco dining. All rooms offer air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Excellent food. Everything felt incredibly fresh, which for me is a huge bonus. The staff was lovely and available by email for any question I had even before arrival. The setting is pastoral—you see green on every side. There’s a horse farm where you can go for a ride. Truly charming. We didn’t try the spa, but my husband had an in-room massage and was very pleased. Very clean. Recommended for anyone looking to escape all the city noise. A car is essential.

El Palazzo Castri 1874 Spa & Garden ofereix un centre de benestar, amb piscina exterior i un bonic jardí paisatgístic. L’estil de l’hotel, el jardí. El personal molt amable i servicial. En els àpats hi mancaven més cambrers. Així i tot les cambreres del sopar eren molt simpàtiques i eficients amb la feinada que tenien van ser molt professionals.

Ville Sull'Arno offers accommodation in Florence, right on the banks of the river Arno. It features a restaurant and a free wellness centre with an indoor pool, sauna, and Turkish bath. The staff's cooperation was outstanding, and I would like to specifically mention the reception staff, especially Sarah, who was extremely helpful.
