Nicest spa hotel we have stayed in. 2 pools, saunas, steam rooms and just a fantastic chill atmosphere!! Easiest way from airport was by taxi. Public transport was to first go into city and then travel out. Hotel is located about 30 minute drive from city centre, but lovely and relaxing after a busy day sight seeing. Taxi from hotel about €20. Also hotel shuttle buses a few times a day at an additional charge. We also used the tram, which was about 10 minute walk (not the best maintained footpath!). Tram goes right into centre of city. Breakfast was continental style - loads to choose - breads, pastries, yogurts, fruit, coffee and juices. Also small hot selection. Room was a great size and really comfortable. Hotel staff were so helpful and pleasant and professional. Didn't eat on hotel, apart breakfast. We discovered a little restaurant https://trattoriadacesare.it/ - just past the tram stop. Excellent Italian food - with mostly local customers. Need to book in advance!!

The wellness centre is provided a complete experience with ergonomic thermal tubs, temperate saline pool, Kneipp vascular path, external panoramic sauna, cold reaction pool, chromotherapy sauna, infrared sessions, thermal steam grotto and fountain ice (indoor/outdoor thermal pool closed on Thursday and in June ). Our Spa offers different kind of massages and relaxing or beauty treatments, as well as natural mud baths. Our room was great, spacious and with a balcony overlooking the pools. The hotel facilities are amazing, both the outside hot pools, as well as the spa. The food is varied, of good quality and tasty. Good location for visiting around.
