The Bastione Spasimo Boutique Hotel personnel were amazing! We had a misfortune and missed our flight, so we weren't able to check in at the agreed time (we arrived well past midnight), but nevertheless the personnel recorded a video just for us and sent it via WhatsApp where they explained the whole procedure of how to enter the hotel using a code, find the room keys in a locker, and navigate to our rooms. While we were stranded at the airport, lol, they prepared everything for us and even asked to leave a breakfast box for us if we planned to leave early in the morning. Rooms were modern and clean, the ceiling was spectacular, and the garden was amazing! Like a botanical garden in the city center! Unfortunately we stayed for only one night and didn't have enough time to use the pool in the garden but did manage to drink the morning coffee beside it.

On top of all that the place is dog friendly. For my personal needs this checks all the boxes. There is a coffe machine in the room for an espresso in the morning and a tea kettle. Additionally a tap and glass bottle to refill free filtered cold water in the hallway. (even sparkling) Check in/check out was quick and easy.

This place far exceeded our expectations. It was fantastic. Secure free parking. A huge room. A comfortable bed. Coffee and tea facilities in our room. Robes and slippers. The place has two pools - one indoor where there's a sauna and a steam room as well. The outside pool was being renovated and should be refilled soon. It was extremely good value too. We were given a voucher to take to a nearby place to get breakfast.
