Located in Ashinomaki Onsen, 渓谷美の宿川音 provides some air-conditioned rooms with private open-air hot spring bath. The rooms are very traditional and comfortable, we love the free yukata that are available in a range of sizes. The onsen are excellent and the sauna is huge. The buffet in the evening and morning is well stocked with a good variety, we particularly liked the sushi and steak prepared freshly at the counter. Special mention to Abe Koichi who was so helpful to us on the trip as he made us feel very welcome and his English is excellent.

Situated in Kitashiobara, 28 km from Mount Bandai, EN RESORT Grandeco Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The hotel was very good. The room was clean and spacious. The hot spring was great and great outdoor atmosphere. Outside the hotel was surrounded by snow wall which was great experience for us. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very polite.

Clean, easy checkin and checkout. Breakfast also was much better than what I usually see in similar level hotels!

Set in Aizuwakamatsu, in a historic building, 3.4 km from Mount Iimori, Aizu Higashiyama Onsen "Shosuke no Yado Takinoyu" since1880 is a recently renovated ryokan with an open-air bath and garden. Beautiful location right by the river. The Onsen was beautiful.

Situated in Kitashiobara, 20 km from Mount Bandai, Mercure Urabandai Resort & Spa features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. The best outdoor onsen in our trip. Free lounge is enjoyable.
