We had a lovely stay at Traumerei, beautifully nestled in the heart of Hakuba. The magical snowy surroundings created a truly memorable experience. We especially enjoyed the daily French breakfasts and the relaxing onsen which were perfect after a day in the snow. The availability of laundry facilities and the attentive, helpful service made our stay very comfortable. Overall, everything met our expectations, and we would highly recommend Traumerei to anyone visiting Hakuba

Their dinner (butter curry chicken) is amazing. We had a good time there! It’s definitely a hotel worth to revisit. 👍👍

We enjoyed our stay! Before we book the room, some reviews said that the room was rather old because the property has been there for years, so we were worried about the facilities especially the shower room. However, the room we were given exceed our expectations! The room was clean, we had a good sleep (FYI 1 pillow for each single bed), the room heater worked well. There is a space for us to put 1 large suitcase and 1 medium suitcase, and a space with a table for us to have our meals. Do note that there is no microwave in the room (that we stayed in). The shower and toilet seat heater worked well, indeed the toilet looks old with a few stains here and there but it didn’t bother us. We had an amazing stay and shout out to Mr Ayabe and the staffs, they answered all our inquiries and helped us when we needed during our stay! Moreover, we planned to ski at Norikura Ski Resort which is just infront of the hotel. There is a basement floor inside the hotel that is meant for skiiers/snowborders - there are lockers to store your equipment which you don’t hv to pay or rent (its given when you stay in at the hotel), there is a rental shop to rent your gears and equipments (relatively cheap compared to outsides rentals). But do come early if you are planning to get your gears!! Besides the great facilities provided such as the onsen, public shower bath, games room, there is also an ice cream vending machine!
