Located in Otari and with Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area reachable within 2.3 km, 椛 Momiji features ski-to-door access, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a garden. This was one of the best ski holidays we have been on. The hotel was beautiful - amazing décor, comfortable room, great private onsen and shared spaces, most delicious food (English breakfast and mostly Japanese dinner), helpful staff. The location is really on the slopes of Norikura (which is linked to Cortina), and an easy walk to the shuttle bus for access to the rest of the Hakuba resorts. Hotel provides pick up and drop off from local train/bus stations, so we really didn't need to rent a car. We opted for the half board option and just really relaxed and enjoyed skiing and chilling in the hotel.

They offered warm and cozy place to stay during our snowboard trips, What we love are Japanese Style Private Bath and Free Flow Sake and Local Wine. Staff are really nice.

Offering rooms with a yukata robe, green tea and mountain views, Hotel Ougiya is 5 minutes from Hakuba Happo-One Ski Field on the free shuttle. Very conveniently close to bus stops and shuttle buses to go to the slopes and other resorts. The host was very helpful and the facilities were good.

Hakuba Mominoki Hotel is located between snow peaks in Hakuba Valley, a 5-minute drive from Hakuba Station. The 4-star hotel offers an outdoor natural hot-spring bath, free Wi-Fi and 3 restaurants. Amazing location. Beautiful interior decor and ample space in the room for my friends and I. Facilities and staff were fantastic. Highly recommended. Too bad we only stayed 1 night!

It had such cozy, intimate vibes, and everyone was kind and respectful. We all thoroughly enjoyed the hot bath after a long day riding, and the staff were so kind and thoughtful. They helped us with dinner reservations and transport, even making us breakfast on our last day. We were so touched and completely blown away by their hospitality! The lodge is also very clean and has everything you could need. They also offer a paid shuttle service to each of the ski resorts in the area, so getting around wasn’t a problem. I highly recommend this place!

This place was amazing! Definitely a hidden gem. The hosts were such a lovely family, some of the most accommodating people we met on our trip. Couldn’t recommend more. Also a great location- only a 10 minute walk up hill to Guryu. The lodge itself is so homely and warm and has great views. Would love to come stay here for longer. The set breakfast is also delicious :)

Unforgettable Stay in Hakuba! From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely fantastic. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless and enjoyable. The daily morning breakfasts delivered to our room were truly a treat—delicious, beautifully presented, and the perfect way to start each day before heading out to explore Hakuba. Without a doubt, this is the best spot to stay in Hakuba. The room was fantastic. I stay at about 20 hotels every year around the world and this is the first hotel I’ve stopped to write a review since the service was so fantastic. We stayed here for 4 days skiing around the local area. I would 100% recommend this place to family and friends!
