River Retreat Garaku offers luxurious modern rooms and suites for a peaceful getaway on Jinzu River. Food: The Japanese style breakfast and French dinner were both exquisite. Room: Fabulous view of the river from the room. Clean, cosy and you can find many little things that show the thought put into the design. For example, there is a small sliding window between the bedroom and the bathroom that you can open and close. Spa: The experience was so pampering and relaxing, I fell into deep sleep and woke up feeling incredibly refreshed.

Facilities and extras are top-notch! We had a massage chair in our room, free ramen, and a communal onsen that nobody else used when we visited. Nice charming room, a super grand Onsen play pool, nice outdoor Onsen with all naked people after bathing. Breakfast was super! Front desk staff were so friendly and extremely helpful. Overall, it is a wonderland for all tourists.

APA Hotel Takaoka Ekimae features accommodation in Takaoka near Kojo Park Zoo and Zuiryu-ji Temple. Good location close to the station, APA Hotels are comfortable and nice. The attention was good as well. This Location in particular has an Onsen type of bath on the second floor, which sounds amazing, sadly I couldn't try it this one time, but it was one of the reasons I booked it in the first place. I had an amazing view from my window. Note that you'll hear the train and the announcement of the station, I'm very sensitive to noise, but this didn't make me uncomfortable in the slightest being on the 10th Floor. I would recommend this APA hotel!
