The Champa Palace Hotel in Pakse, Laos, offers a historic and elegant atmosphere, blending French colonial and Lao architectural styles. Beautiful property - it was actually a palace. The room was comfortable- we had a room without a window the first night and then moved to one with. Either is actually fine. The bed is comfortable -most beds in SEA tend to bed on the hard side- and the pillows are great. No issues with the bathroom flooding as we used the rain shower and put the mat outside the shower door. The pool area is fabulous, there aren’t enough lounge chairs but there are a lot of other seating options. There is no poolside bar, but one can order from the lobby bar - just steps away - and they will bring your drinks. Also, ask them for towels. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful and the breakfast buffet had plenty from which to choose.

Brought my mum for the night while she was visiting and it exceeded our expectations. All staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was well construction，and had everything plus more that we could want. Mekong river view is amazing，I've posted lots of video on my social media，The decor and decoration was beautiful. The breakfast was the best one I have had in a hotel in the many years of travel I have had. Have already recommended to friends and if in the area again would book without a shadow of doubt!
