Set in Riga’s historic centre overlooking Bastion Hill, Grand Poet Hotel by Semarah combines contemporary design with five-star comfort. The breakfast had a wide variety of dishes, including Riga specialties, and was delicious. We booked two rooms for my husband and two daughters, and they arranged for us to have adjacent rooms, which was very helpful. The staff were also new and very polite. The SPA concierge was especially helpful. about the location, within walking distance to Riga's Old Town.

Locatoin was excellent just 10-15 min walk from old town, shopping center and market. Wonderful " Harry Potter" house that looked small from outside but just had more and more inside. Three adults and three teenagers had a blast. We arrived late but Sauna was set ready inspite of that. Nice Jaquise pool. Easy parking.

The property is very central and has an amazing view overlooking the river. The facilities are excellent and the spa is phenomenal after a cold day. The staff provided us with robes even if we did not book the room with spa access and you can book online access even 30min ahead of time, which is very convenient for a more flexible itinerary. Another amazing thing were the bathrooms that have a heating system. Most importantly the room came with a kettle and an assortment of teas.
