Best of all we got upgraded to a new large family room during our stay for a week !!! In between they are very good at communication, they set up a whatsapp group at the beginning of your stay and make you feel like you are VIP. Overall recommended stay

Nestled amongst the natural and lush greenery of the rainforests near the border between Malaysia and Brunei, Mulu Marriott Resort is located on Melinau Paku River in Miri. The resort boasts a large fitness centre, pool and a sauna. It is 20 minutes from the Mulu Airport by car. We loved our stay. A beautiful, peaceful setting, the price included buffet breakfast and dinner which were tasty, plentiful and catered for vegetarians. The staff were friendly, special call out for Donny, and professional. The accommodation was spacious and clean. The shuttle service to and from the airport and park was reliable, and there was good wifi in the bar/reception area.

Located off the coast of Borneo on Gaya Island, Bunga Raya Island Resort & Spa features spacious villas with a private balcony. The resort boasts an outdoor pool and 3 dining options. Free WiFi is accessible from the villas. Absolutely beautiful. What amazing stay. The staff was great, beautiful beach, wild marine life, scuba diving, snorkling, and I could go on. Highly recommend!

The staff at this family-run hotel went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The room was super clean and bathroom spacious and luxurious. We enjoyed a complimentary foot soak which was amazing after having climbed Mt Kinabalu. There is a lift which is convenient for moving luggage up to the room.

Activities can be arranged at the tour desk on site. It’s an amazing hotel. The service is excellent, way above average in Malaysia. The breakfast is amazing. Nice pool, and perfect location. But the best is the rooftop bar to watch the sunset. Leves everything! It is an old building but everything is beautiful and clean.
