This is an incredible property. The home is well appointed and decorated and comfortable. There is everything you need in the kitchen, including beautiful stoneware. The outside space is absolutely amazing with seating and a dining table on a covered open porch that leads into a beautiful garden, including flowers and vegetables. There is a mountain and sea view from the porch. I highly recommend this home in Collingwood as a great launching point for the Heaphy or for visiting Cape Farewell.

The owner Mark is caring and friendly, gave some good advice on the house and any local subject.

It was a superb location - so peaceful with wonderful views. Our host, Mark, was not there so we had the entire beautiful house to ourselves. We soaked in the jacuzzi, washed clothes, cooked dinner in the well equipped kitchen, and spread out everything we owned to get ready for a 3-day tramp in Abel Tasman.
I wish we could have stayed longer.

The most breathtaking location we’ve stayed at! The bedroom was excellent and the facilities were perfect. Mark was unfortunately not home so we could meet him, but that meant we had the whole amazing house to ourselves. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could wish for and was super spacious. The coffee was fantastic!
Watching the stars outside jn the hot tub was an extra bonus.
The gravel road leading down to the property was a bit nerve wracking, but was not really a problem.

Beautiful relaxing space. If you enjoy glamping and taking it slow this is the place for you. There is only one tent so it’s just you and the host Shanti who is just down the track - 20 metres.
Spotless through out,the shower and compost toilet are a delight to use.
