The Antigua Casona San Blas is a family-owned and operated boutique hotel in the historic center of Cusco with 50 rooms. Everything about the Antigua Casona was perfect. The reception staff were amazing - welcoming and professional. Our room was spacious and very tastefully decorated. The bathroom was spotless. The breakfast was exceptional as was the food in the restaurant. We stayed in this hotel 7 years ago and it is every bit as excellent now as it was then. The whole hotel is beautiful.

Rodi’s tour of the Inca sites was nothing short of extraordinary—his passion and knowledge brought the history and spirit of the area to life. If you can, ask him to be your guide; you’ll gain so much insight and connection to the Sacred Valley! Claudia’s cooking was equally remarkable—each meal was a masterpiece filled with love and flavor. And, of course, we can’t forget Tupac, their adorable and friendly llama. Hugging him was such a unique and heartwarming experience! The lodge is a perfect blend of comfort, charm, and cultural immersion. To top it off, Rodi is beginning to organize Inca Trail tours with a big focus on ensuring porters are treated with the utmost care and respect. If you’re looking to explore one of the most unique places on Earth while supporting ethical practices, this is the place to start. We couldn’t recommend Spirit of the River Lodge more highly. The location is amazing, you're in the middle of nature; mountains, gardens, and flowers. The landscape is beautiful, the tents are nice and have everything that you need, the staff are super friendly and the restaurant food is good. It's the perfect place to relax in-between hikes.

Everything was PERFECT! The property is gorgeous - beautiful garden w/ alpacas in the yard & a gorgeous mountain view. Inti at the front desk was very kind & helped me arrange a spa service w/ Gladys (which was incredible), a taxi for the airport, & late checkout. Food at the restaurant is delicious & true farm-to-table. Breakfast was wonderful. My room had large windows & a balcony w/ a beautiful view. Overall a very peaceful & comfortable stay in Urubamba. 10/10 recommend!

Set in a beautiful colonial property and featuring an on-site restaurant, Palacio Manco Capac offers accommodations in Cusco. Free WiFi access is available. A complimentary breakfast is served daily. We absolutely loved staying at Palacio Manco Capac, it was the perfect place to rest after Valle sagrado. It was beautiful, the staff was amazing, breakfast was delicious and we had dinner once and it was also delicious. Loved loved loved everything!!

Located 10 metres from the Machupicchu train station, Casa del Sol Machupicchu offers free Wi-Fi and free shuttle services from Machupicchu Train Station. The museum area is 500 metres away. Location was just right real close to the train station. Room the view of the river gave an added bonus to the experience. Bus ride was good.

The hotel boasts impressive interiors with antique exposed bricks, vaulted ceilings and sleek designer style furniture. Cusco’s cathedral and main square are only 3 blocks away. We stayed at the hotel after an intense hike to Machu Picchu, specifically to rest, and it was the perfect choice. The hotel was completely renovated from an old colonial-era convent. This convent, in turn, was built on top of Inca ruins, which themselves were constructed over the remnants of an earlier civilization conquered by the Incas. How do we know this? The hotel offers a fascinating daily tour of its underground areas, where you can visit the ruins and learn about the site’s history. During the tour, they explained how the hotel was meticulously renovated and rebuilt to become the stunning place we experienced, while honoring all the historical layers of the past. The room was extremely comfortable, and the amenities – shampoo, conditioner, creams, and bath salts – were of excellent quality, carefully chosen to provide a luxurious experience. Another highlight was the spacious and pleasant common area, where we could see women from Chinchero selling their handmade products and meet Panchita, a lovely llama. This common area also features a variety of plants and herbs cultivated on-site, which are used to prepare different teas offered to guests. This thoughtful detail added a special touch to the experience. Additionally, the hotel offers several amazing activities, such as cooking classes where we made ceviche using peppers grown in the hotel’s own garden, along with other fresh ingredients. The pool and relaxation area were outstanding, featuring a heated pool, hot tub, and both dry and wet saunas, providing the perfect setting to unwind. The breakfast was another highlight. We’ve never had such an incredible breakfast! We even asked for the recipe for some delicious cakes we tried, and the staff provided it to us promptly. Our stay at the hotel was absolutely perfect. The only "problem" is that it’s so amazing, you won’t feel like leaving – not even to explore the incredible city of Cusco

Tambo del Inka, a luxury establishment located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, is the only hotel in Urubamba that has a private train station with connections to Machu Picchu. This was our second time to go to this hotel. I like so much the rooms, the huge common spaces and the wellness. The coffee machine in the room is a real extra. We traveld to Machu Picchu with the train (from the hotel’s train station) - it’s very comfy.
